The Society was founded in 1956 and has been regularly producing shows and concerts throughout Wigan. Members of the society have a common interest in all types of music, but particularly the popular comic operas of Gilbert & Sullivan. John Flood has been the Musical Director since 1986 and at present is Musical Director for four other societies. The Society practices every Wednesday evening from 7:30pm to 9:30pm and is always happy to see new people who might be interested in joining.
